Feeling A Bit Excited

Hey Everyone

I told you I'd be back and here I am!!!  I wanted to come and do a short blog to keep my Word which is something that although my health isn't where I'd like it to be this has become a big thing for me. Even on my worst day I want to be able to try my best to keep my word.  My Dad always told us when we were growing up your Word is Your Bond!! In other words there maybe sometimes in your life that it maybe the only thing you have is your Word and it can make all the difference.

I did something big last week and stepped out on Faith and not to let the "cat out the bag just yet will hold on for a bit until the deal is done and then share it with you all.  I will share this though, since 2013 when my health began to really fail me my attitude about my future really changed.  I love being active and the thought of not being able to come and go as I please especially now is depressing to say the least; but if I wasn't a woman of Faith I would have thrown in the towel last summer when I began to realize that my surgery had not been a complete success.  At 48 I'm asking myself what next and I tell you the opinions, suggestions and perceptions have been something else but I'm so glad that gave me three nuggets of encouragement.  The first one was in early 2013 You don't have to validate yourself in anyone's eyes I will validate you in due season.  The second one came a few days after I came home from my surgery March 2014 I want to heal you from the inside out.  Lastly, You were Healed as you went. Now that last just came a few weeks ago and I told my Pastor I don't know where I'm going but I believe God.

Tomorrow will mark the last day of a project that God gave me back in April.  It is (was) the #90DaysofUplifting project and each day I had to post to Social media mainly to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram something that would be encouraging and uplifting to someone.  It wasn't until I was in for about 2 weeks that God let me know that this is for me also.  You know what I'm coming to realize that God is always wanting what's best for us even when we have to go through something to get to it.

Well this is all for now more to come.  Until next time Be Blessed Be Encouraged and Be Creative

Bible Journaling, Instagram and Documented Faith

Hello I wanted to share with you a little more about my Faith walk. I found Bible journaling in January of this year after getting more into studying the Word in 2014 via She Reads Truth. It was last year when I found Illustrated Faith on Instagram and let's just say it allowed my love of God and the love to create collided into creating art in my Journaling Bible.  Since beginning this journey I have become a part of many like minded students of the Word of God who through art journaling express our love of God. We have prayed, cried, shared and given to each other. It is so encouraging to know that the Body of Christ is in full effect loving, growing, praying and sharing daily.

In my last post I mentioned winning a Bible Journaling Instagram giveaway   can I just say I love everything and especially the Bible Tabs they are beautiful!!!!  I so look forward to being creative with all of these items.  I hope you will come back and see what I've been able to express as I continually seek to draw closer to God.

I also wanted to share that I'm starting Documented Faith created by Stephanie Ackerman.  I wanted to do this as a way of being more opened to my Faith Walk.  The more you put in the more you get our. I love God and all that He has done for me. She picks a theme for the Month July is Authenticity and each week you journal according the scripture and sub-topic Stephanie post. I came in on week 29 the scripture was Psalm 139:13-14 this method of journaling the Word of God makes me really think more Relational. What do I mean?  How can I make this relational between me and God, how do I apply it to my life daily, how do look honestly at my life, how is it lining up with God's commands for how I conduct myself as a servant of Him.

the following day I journaled it in my Bible by using a ball of yarn and declaring on the Word that I am indeed Beautifully Made

the following day I added a tip in Project Life card themed I AM all of these things.

I hope and pray that if you desire to become closer to God that you will join me and many other Believers in either group Documented Faith, Journaling Bible Community on Facebook.  You will be welcomed with opened arms.

I'm planning to post weekly, so please come back and let me know what you think.  Be Blessed Be Encouraged and as always Be Creative.

It's only been 24 hours and I have to really go over my method of organizing but I immediately see that I need another one. Stay tuned for that in the next few weeks!
